UK Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
Introduction
Talkr Limited is committed to the highest ethical standards and integrity in all areas of our business. We take a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking and are committed to ensuring that our operations, as well as our supply chains, are free from such practices. This statement outlines the steps we have taken to prevent modern slavery within our business and supply chains, in accordance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Our Business
Talkr Limited is a UK-based outsourcing company, providing a range of services to clients across various sectors. We work closely with partners in North Macedonia to deliver high-quality outsourced solutions. We recognise the responsibility we have to combat modern slavery and human trafficking within our own operations and the broader supply chain.
Our Commitment
We are fully committed to ensuring that modern slavery, in any form, does not exist within our business or supply chains. This commitment applies to every person involved in our operations, regardless of location, including our partners and suppliers in North Macedonia. Our approach includes stringent due diligence processes, clear policies, and proactive engagement with our partners to uphold human rights.
Steps We Are Taking to Prevent Modern Slavery
Due Diligence in Our Supply Chains
We conduct rigorous due diligence when selecting and working with suppliers and partners. This process includes assessing their practices and policies to ensure they share our commitment to preventing modern slavery. We require all of our partners, including those in North Macedonia, to adhere to our ethical standards, including respecting human rights, fair labour practices, and transparent operations.Policies and Training
We have implemented a comprehensive set of internal policies designed to combat modern slavery and trafficking, which all employees and partners are required to follow. These include:Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy
Whistleblowing Policy
We provide training to our employees and partners to raise awareness of modern slavery risks and ensure they understand the signs of exploitation, as well as the procedures to follow if they suspect any unethical practices.Supplier Code of Conduct
Our suppliers are required to sign and adhere to our Supplier Code of Conduct, which outlines our zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, child labour, and human trafficking. This code is an essential part of our agreements with suppliers and is reviewed regularly.Risk Assessments and Audits
We conduct ongoing risk assessments to identify areas within our supply chain that may be vulnerable to modern slavery. Regular audits and site visits are conducted, particularly with our partners in higher-risk locations, such as North Macedonia. These audits ensure compliance with our policies and provide an opportunity to address any potential concerns proactively.Reporting and Accountability
We encourage anyone who suspects unethical practices or modern slavery within our operations or supply chain to report it immediately. Our Whistleblowing Policy ensures that all reports are investigated thoroughly, and those who raise concerns are protected from retaliation.
Looking Forward
We are committed to continuously improving our processes to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking. This includes regularly reviewing our policies, enhancing supplier vetting procedures, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure the highest ethical standards are upheld across our operations.
